Summer started yesterday, officially. Today was so nice out with the temperature in the low 80s and low humidity. I walked from my apartment in Hell’s Kitchen to Harold Square and then back to Bryant Park. The Summer sales are everywhere which is good for me. There was a street fair on 6th Avenue from 34th Street to 42nd Street. It was the same usual shops selling gyro, corn on the cob, cellphone accessories, and New York t-shirts.
I also found that Rize Coffee on 42nd Street is closed for good. I am not sure what happened to it. While I was sad to find it was gone, I found a new good coffee shop, Gregory’s. There are a few of them around the city, mostly in midtown. Today, I tried their blended coffee and it was good.
In the afternoon, I just spent a few hours people watching at Bryant Park. I also took a few photos of buildings (looking up). Here are a few of them.
