Day 23 (02/01/13) Living in NYC

Friday, February 1, 2013.

It started to get colder this morning.  It was about 30F outside.  The whole office (6 people today) went to Onya for Japanese noodles.  This was my first time there.  The place was packed.  You started by picking your toppings for your noodles and put them on a plate.  You then order the dish at the counter, pay, pick up your dish, and find a seat to sit.  I had sukiyaki noodles with three toppings (fried chicken pieces, shrimp tempura, and onion rings).  The sukiyaki came with slices beef and egg.  It was very good.  Next time I would like to try their yakisoba.

After work, I met up with a few friends at Boxers in Hell’s Kitchen.  I had a great time hanging out with them.  At Boxers, they offered two for one drinks during their Happy Hours from 6 PM to 9 PM.  They made strong drinks there, at least in the basement.  After Boxers, we stopped by Cosmic Diner in Hell’s Kitchen for dinner.  I got home about 11 PM to find out there was no water.  This time I didn’t get a notice!

I took this picture from the office and applied tilt-shift to it.
